Hello,

I just got out of the hospital this morning for the 2nd time and would like to get some suggestions on what I can take to get over this.

Friday I was having a scale 15 on a scale of 1 to 10 headach and pain all on my right side. It was so bad I couldn't even put my fingers through my hair without being in absolute pain. The hospital said it could be a sinus infection but gave me a spinal tap test and it came back clear so they sent me home. They gave me morphine and a prescribtion for amoxicillin which I cant get until the clinics open on Monday.

The morning I woke up again in bad pain but just loaded up on flexicil and 400 mg Ibrophofen. weak but pain was mostly gone

This morning I had a full blown asthma attack and the pain was back too. So again they gave me morphine and prescribed predisone which again I cant get until tomorrow.

I'm trying to find a ride to Wild Oats (Orgainix market) to pick up some kombucha tea is there anything else I can do / take to get this (whatever 'this' is) out of my system?

  • I *strongly* recommend reading this book: www.amazon.com/exec/obido...210-7325508

I have struggled with headaches for over 30 years, and this is the first account I have read that 1) agrees with my experience and 2) holds together and makes logical sense as a complete theory of headaches.

I was so convinced that I have all but given up caffeine now, even though I am a huge coffee lover! And it has made a difference.
    • yeah I had a full blown migraine attack and turned out that i hadn't drank coffee in two days...i would start drinkig water or tea and back away from overstimulating foods...see what happens
      • Just to relieve your pain in the meantime, and also in light of your athsma attack, i would use some nervines, such as valerian and skullcap. this will help your body relax, rather than cramping up in response to pain. also, think about getting a prescription for ephedra from your doc or health practitioner. this has long been used to treat athsma.
        • thank you for the information. I'm seeing my new doctor in a month :( Unfort I lost my case with the state on why I should continue to have health benifits... CA doesn't consider any level of asthma a disability. My doctor even wrote a letter stating that without my medication I stand the risk of dying.

Love our goverement. I told them I dont need nor do I want the money, I only wanted health insurence.
          • Midnight - I am responding to your post obscenely late, but have you been to a chiropractor? Sometimes people with nerve problems or disks impinging nerves can have these symptoms, esp. as you say the pain is on one side of your body. A *good* chiropractor, one where you can have a private appointment would be able to diagnose something like this fairly quickly. Hope you are feeling better.
